Any info on the .380 Kahr yet? *updated with Pics!

I was wondering if any new information had surfaced on the Kahr .380 that was supposed to be coming out?  I figure that after SHOT there has to be some news on it.

Is the price supposed to be ~$600 like the rest of the pistols?  Sure hope not, anyway.

Word is gradually creeping out...
Striker fired, small and light (pocket pistol).
Rumor has it that it may be more competitively priced than some of their other pistols, but that remains to be seen.

And the big news...

KAHR ACTUALLY DESIGNED THEIR OWN GUN!  Cool

Well, this info is stolen from a post on another forum, but I thought I'd share anyway.

Quote:
RSR Group (wholesaler) is showing a "Kahr P380" in their system with the following specs:

Manufacturer
Kahr Arms
Model
P380
Action
Semi-automatic
Type
Double Action Only
Size
Micro Compact
Caliber
380ACP
Barrel Length
2.5"
Frame/Material
Polymer
Finish/Color
Matte Stainless
Grips/Stock
Polymer
Capacity
6Rd
Accessories
2 Mags
Sights
Fixed Sights

They are also showing up on Acusport's ordering system, so it's not a fluke. No availability or photos yet, of course. Street pricing should be around $550.00.

Surely pricing will be lower, though time will tell.

I have photos of the 380 kahr. It is a dandy, just a scale model of the pm9, only very very small and very very lite.  have no size dimensions or weight yet to give. i have forwarded the photos to two members of the kt forum and ask them to post them,as I don't know how to do it.  It looks like a really nice handgun.  It is a striker fired handgun with a slide lock and a stainless upper slide.  The photos are impressive and by the looks of the guys thumb holding this 380 kahr, it is indeed small.  They had told me it was even smaller than the 380 kt, so what ever that means.  But right now they are not putting out any demensions, as the gun is not yet ready for production, so I am told. Price is pure speculation to, as kahr has again said nothing about price, my bet is under $400 but over $300. flame away undecided

By the way it will be called the P380

Cool!  I'd be interested in checking it out.  The name makes sense enough, though its a bit unfortunate that P3AT and P380 are pronounced the exact same way.  So it looks to be similar in dimensions?  From what I've heard, it sounds like a unique and positive product design, and for that I'll doff my hat to Kook Jin Moon!

I think those specs are pure speculation, for the fella at kahr that sent the photos out said at this time kahr has not announced any dimensions or weight.  His comment was lite and small and he laughed..same thing for street price to, pure speculation on my  part when I said I think it will come in under $400 and above $300. If it is like all the other kahr polymers the magazine release will be a polymer release button. with a steel insert where it contacts the magazine.

sure is, my understanding is that every part is like the pm9 only everything is proportional to the size of the gun. I know what the size of my pm9 slide is, I just cannot imagine this little P380 with the same internals as the pm9 slide but that is what they have told me, ,  I do think it will be out before end of the year, my guess and from hints gave to me is mid year, not sure what they are waiting on. Sure would be nice to see this thing come in at around $350. Not sure if the barrel is polygonal either  as all the kahr pm's are. definitely wil be a captive recoil spring assembly.  Humm , wonder if this little sucker can be ported????? Nite sties, now wouldn't that be a hoot to, if offered...
