Hello to all, I really enjoyed seeing that kelTec is on the ball with new mod for the Sub-2000.  Look as a Retired LE officer working part time jobs now, I use my Subby as my backup carbine.  Simple to use, mags go right from my G22 right to my Sub-2000 (40 S&W).  One problem has always been the front hand guard.  Earlier fixes have been the lower add-ons for lights or what ever, Fold over scopes and a verity of other short term items.  This new Rail setup is perfect, stable platform, mulitple item mounts, effective us of fold / locking ability of this carbine.  Fellas this is the one must have item for this weapon.  everything else is follows after this mod.  Now I can put on all the items required by local LE mandates and keep it beside me insteed of the trunk.  Thanks for allowing my input!  Later All!    

I got the 2 rail version for the same reasons as stated above, and I'm glad I did.  The gun balances very well, feels more solid, and I've got room to mount accessories that I don't even have yet.

ktwm checked a returned lower half for color last week.  It was good, and they should have some more in 10 days or so.

Tried again this morning and was told 3 weeks!!  
 
Guess I'll have to keep all my accessories in their packages until I can get the forearms.  It's not worth buying and mounting a rail on the underside of the stock forearm if I know I'm going to replace it in a few weeks.

Called a few minutes after 8am this morning and ordered a 4 rail version!!!  They said they had gotten several in stock.  $113.40 plus shipping and will ship tomorrow!!
