P-40 holsters

I'm looking for a holster for my P-40 and I can't seem to find any. All of them are listed as being for the P-11. My question is will the P-40 with the slightly longer slide fit these holsters?

Does anyone have a holster they carry a P-40 in that they like and would recommend? I prefer IWB holsters but have been looking at some OWB holsters and think I might pick one of them up too for cold weather wear.

Made for the P-11, fits both well. For OWB I have a Fobus paddle holster. Again for the P-11, fits both perfectly. I don't think you'll have any problems.

I just recently got a P11 and the IWB holster I got for it would work great for the P40 as well.

It's a DeSantis Tuck-This 2 and it has a spare mag pocket on the spine of the holster. $29.99 at Midway. I wore it for the first time yesterday, all day and it was comfortable & worked very well.

I did find that I had to turn the spare magazine so the finger extension was parallel to my belt because the corner of the magazine box was digging into my side, causing some chaffing to my skin. After that small adjustment, it was great and I'd highly recommend it.

I personally have a Sideguard "The Slide" OWB holster for my P-11. It has an open end, and would work excellent for the P-40 as well. Sideguard holsters are VERY well made, my P-11 with loaded magazine (empty chamber obviously) can be shaken up and down and the gun will not fall out. I also like that all their holsters offer full slide protection from your body, helps keep corrosion at bay a little more, as does the use of CorrosionX gun oil (which is ALL I use on smokeless guns).

There are a Lot of choices out there, but I am thinking of getting a holster from Sideguard for my 1911 soon. I am a very happy customer!
