The belt clip worked very well for me for a while, but the stress of normal use caused the clip to gradually bend away from the gun. I removed it with the intent of replacing it with another clip, but have never done so. I mostly carry OWB now. My method of carry with the belt clip was to tuck the gun down the front of my pants and clip it to the waist of my pants, under the belt. The clip would not have spread wide enough to actually clip around my belt. Some feel that not using a holster to protect the trigger is an invitation for disaster, but I feel that with my "gangster" carry method, the trigger was very well protected by the overlapped denim of the fly of my pants, which is arguably more protection than offered by most fabric pocket holsters. I can get by with OWB carry most of the time, but there are times when I really miss the belt clip.
