More pics!

As requested, here are some more pics, now showing how the shoulder holster fits. I've adjusted the two sides to ride as high as possible, to avoid swaying and swinging, especially when I bend down.

The knife adds some thickness to the off side, but its weight brings that side up to the weight of the pistol and balances it very well. It's also a very useful little knife.

It vanishes under a bloused, tucked-in shirt, or under an untucked Hawaiian shirt.

Great stuff, looks like a very light, cheap and breathable design. And kudos on the fixed blade, much better than a folder.

Also a retention strap can be added, but that doesn't mean it needs to be used all the time, you might only decide to use it your doing very vigorous activity. Another option is a snappable/breakable retention strap, like a rubber band or snappable cord.

On a lanyard? I dunno... I just don't like the idea of that pistol possibly winding up pointed at my neck.

Pocket carry for me, fellas...

That's one reason I adjusted the cords to bring the goodies up high. If you look again at the pics, there's little slack for them to rotate.

High position also reduces swing and sway, and puts the pistol and offside carrier where I can "pin" them with my upper arms when bending over.

Your objection is the exact reason I hate neck carry of a pistol, and why I'm not a really huge fan of neck knives, unless they're strictly for utility.

One trick when drawing from a shoulder holster is to "hunch" both shoulders forward during the draw. That helps prevent the "chasing the pistol around your body" routine that can happen if the pistol is swinging toward your back when you go for it.

No carry method is perfect. My main two reasons for not liking pocket carry are:
1. My pocketses are already full!
2. Very difficult to access while driving. Under an open shirt, this P-32 is pretty darned accessible while behind the wheel.

All my best,

Pocket carry is a grave mistake for any serious CCW carry. Your first concern when being attacked will be to evade attack and then draw your weapon. How can you draw your weapon if your leg is moving? You can't, that's why noone that's serious carries the gun in their pockets, it's only accessible if your standing still or you have advanced warning, ie both newbie mistakes.

The nice thing about this holster is that you can tie a cord in front of your belly to fix the pistol firmly in it's position. It would only need for you to make a little hold on the side of your t-shirt. It can be tightened with a bit of velcro, it could also be made of elastic. It can still be covertly worn without being bulky like other holsters.

Except for me...and thousands of other serious carriers who pocket carry.  No carry method is perfect.  We carry using the best method for our dress code, comfort level and gun.

Nice job on the shoulder holster.  You've put some time and thought into it.
