New Red Lion R3 contest!
06/29/10 at 23:57:32

First I would like to thank our friends @ Red Lion Precision LLC for making the review and give away possible, we need more friends like them!

During the review in order to remain as unbiased as possible I decided that I would not keep the forend that Red Lion sent me, but what would I do with it?  We came up with a fun solution for this dilemma. We will have a contest or give away! There are specific rules so please read the rules BEFORE posting!  Any unnecessary chatting or more than one post per contestant will be deleted! There will be a thread for any discussion about this and links provided here below.

This contest will begin on July 1, 2010 and will end on July 31, 2010.  On or about August 1st we will randomly select a winner to whom we will ship a Red Lion Precision forend for the Kel-tec SU-16.

Contest Rules:
 1.  Eligible contestants must have a minimum of 100 posts as of midnight on June 30, 2010.

2.  To enter, you must own an SU-16 and post a picture of yourself with your SU-16 in this thread.

3.  No other posts are to be made in this thread.

4.  You must live in the Continental United States.

5.  You cannot already own a Red Lion forend for the SU-16.

6.  Within 30 days of receipt, the owner must post a review of the Red Lion forend.

7.  Neither Kel-tec employees, KTOG staff, nor their families are eligible.  cry

 Example picture required for contest!

Again, do not make any other posts in this thread.  Also, any bogus entry may result in loss of your posting privleges on KTOG.  Do not borrow a friend's rifle or try to photoshop an entry.  KTOG moderators will be the final judge on anything suspicious.  This contest is intended to reward one of our participating SU-16 owners.

Each eligible entrant's reply number in this thread will be their entry number.  Note that any extraneous posts or posts by ineligible members will be removed, nor will they be appreciated.  This could change someone's reply number.  No entries will be accepted after midnight on July 31, 2010.  At that time, the thread will be locked so that all members can verify their entry number.  Within a day or two we will randomly select a number to determine the winner.

Any and all questions and/or comments may be posted in the sister thread located here:
(link to sister thread posted here).

Howdy all!

As you can see, I've already removed the goofy factory "bipod" forend in anticipation of winning the RL forend! [Actually, I've been fooling around w/ coming up w/ a replacement on my own & the timing of the contest just happened to work out this way...]

Thanks Bam-Bam & Red Lion for offering another contest so soon. You rock!

Congrats TROLL!

I won the other Red Lion forend here and it's a keeper!

Solid lockup, lightweight, and smooth finishing on the picatinny rails.

You won't be disappointed with the quality.

Balance on my former SU-16C is now superb, and looks great IMO.

The price was definitely right also! Thanks again BAM! Cool

With the help of some friends, this is how mine turned out.

Not a folder on this one.

However, you can pick up the folding hinge mechanism at ACE Stocks as well.  Cool
