No one at the range has ever asked to shoot any of my other guns, but almost every time I go to the range someone asks if they can shoot my PLR-16.  I dont know what it is about the gun, but maybe it should come with a warning.  Warning!  May Attract Strangers.

I had a similar experience with a couple of local dealers telling me that KelTec is crap when I was looking for a P3AT, but being the stubborn sort I bought it anyway. I made the right choice. So when I recently decided on a PLR 16 same junk from my local dealers. These guys should really stop bashing products that the customer wants and just help them with their purchase. Everyone is an expert! I agree that the PLR 16 is an attention grabber at the range, it seems like everyone has the same 2 questions "what the hell is that and can I try it."
One other little story. My son, not wanting to copy the old man, bought an LCP. He kept it for 2 months, sold it, and now has a P3AT just like dad.
Funny part is KelTec is in FL and so am I. Strange that dealers in my area are trashing a local company.
