Some of you guys got some high class holsters there!  Very Nice..

I have a few below that aren't too fancy, but I like the variation and in some cases multi use.

1.) Most Used: Desantis Nemesis Pocket holster with no print flap. Originally got it (and still use it) for my P11 too.

2.) Best Access: Fobus Paddle. Heavily reworked (all rivets replaced with added spacers) as the gun didn't holster or draw in factory stock condition. Works excellent now. Not a Fobus fan, but the price was right.

3.) Most Versatile: Ebay L2C generic IWB and OWB (just flip it over). Also fits many of my other (including full sized) guns. Simple, but effective.

4.) Most Unique: Ebay pouch pack holster. Originally got it for my J-Frame S&W, but the PF9 seems right at home. Smaller and less obvious than a fanny pack, looks like a small camera belt case.

Nice guys!  okc, does your Ross pocket holster stay in the pocket upon drawing? The Nemesis has grippy exterior so it stays inside the pocket. I tried a leather one (can't remember the brand) but it required "anchoring" the bottom portion of the holster to the lip of the pocket in order to draw the gun without the holster. Just wondering...

MPD, what kind of holster is that wallet-looking thing? back pocket? Looks sturdy and well made. I think I spot an M-Tac? and the one with the XD is it a DeSantis or Galco?

Thank you guys, keep em' coming!

The wallet holster is from "pocket holsters dot com".  Correct on the mtac Minotaur and the other is a DeSantis Cozy Partner.  Another great source is "The Holster Store"........great moulded leather at reasonable prices and very good designs.  "Grandfather Oak" in NC also has nice stuff in Kydex and some PF9 rigs that are very concealable. Wink

Nice job guys.  I'm pretty sure someone in the hunt for holsters will find all this information most valuable... I know I do!

Please keep posting pics and don't forget to specify the make and model of your holster plus any additional info that might be useful to those looking at holster options.

Hi Viper, did you have to custom order that "no print" flap for the nemesis?  I couldn't find it on DeSantis web page.  If so, how much you $$?  I really like the flap idea...

Not Viper but I have a "Super Fly" also.  The flap attaches with velcro and is standard.  It is based on the Nemisis but is a different model of that design.  The Nemisis has no flap and is slightly less "tacky" .   The flap will eventually allow a slight printing of the weapon so it is not a total solution but better than most.  The leather Pocket Holster. Com wallet unit is much better at hiding the outline and never came out of my pocket when drawing the weapon due to the unfinished leather of the rear side.  It fits a front pocket and works better than the nemisis type holsters for tighter fits like jeans IMO.  Back pocket carry is near impossible with the PF9, just a tad too big.

1.) Oops, my bad. Yeah it's a Desantis Nemesis "Superfly" model, and as MPD stated is standard with flap. Best I can recall, I think I paid around $25 for it last year.

2.) I agree yet disagree about the "slight printing of the weapon" as the flap wears. You can clearly see in my picture that the flap is worn over a bit. Honestly I was really paranoid about that in the beginning, but I noticed that in this day and age of mens wallets in the front pocket, pda's, Ipod thingys etc.. they all look/print relatively the same, 'Bulky'. My wallet (do to my fat/muscular butt) is nearly the same size and shape including the angle of wear at the corner.
I have asked just about a dozen (trusted non gun phobic) friends and aquaintences to look at my front pocket with my P11 (no less) in that holster, and not one guessed it was a gun. This includes at the range with a LEO buddy present. He said I "just taught him to look out for that" but agreed it was still a difficult call.
Most thought a wallet, or cell phone, etc.. Some of them (the friends) even knew I had/carried guns. I usually wear cargo pants, looser jeans, and dress slacks, all with fairly generous pockets. Thus if I wear tighter pocket pants, I can switch to owb with a large shirt or jacket, weather depending.

My point is simply that in this day and age with so many peoples pockets (especially guys) loaded down with all sorts of modern tech gadgets, wallets etc. Not many 'untrained' eyes stare at my pocket for more than a millisecond and think "is that a gun in his pocket?" Honestly, even with the worn angle flap it just looks like a fat wallet at worst. Not one person in any case has ever picked it out as a gun.

YMMV of course with choice of gun, pants, location carried, how you are behaving/acting, etc.. But seriously most people will never see or stare at your pocket seeing a "printed gun". Life and situations are busy and fast, and unless someone is seriously looking for such a thing, I doubt many could tell with certainty.

Just my .02

I agree with what Viper said but I carry an XDSC in my Super Fly and it is about twice as thick as a PF9 so the gun outline is a bit more obvious to anyone trained.  That said, no one has ever noticed that I know of.

Actually, I wear the MTAC Minotaur in a semi crossdraw position and find it the most comfortable when I don't have a big enough pocket for the Super Fly.  It hides the SC and even my XDM pretty well even in a T shirt.  Both of those guns have weight issues the PF 9 doesn't.

Thx Viper and MPDC for all your good input and observations.  I'll look into the superfly. I like the idea of having a grippier material and less gun print  Smiley

Funny, no one so far uses bellyband-type holster.  I thought it would be more popular due to the fact you can wear it with any type of clothing and how it would fit the small size and weight of the PF-9.

IMO smartcarry is better than the bellyband. I do use mine for extended wear (on long trips) and for occasions where concealment through legal must be very discreet . Factory clip works well too.

Hi 32dgrz. Thanks for the post.  Would you mind specifying the make and model of the holsters? I think the first one is a minituck by Crossbreed, right?  What about the second (pocket) holster?  Thx for posting! Smiley
