File the Extractor or the Receiver? - Answered (Read 181 times)

Dannix YaBB Newbies I Love YaBB 2! Posts: 5	File the Extractor or the Receiver? - Answered 07/22/10 at 20:19:41 Got a new P-32 in my hands. Did a fluff and buff (it really needed it too), but I noticed the slide won't come back far enough to eject loaded rounds or even empties...I looked closer, and the extractor is digging into the receiver. Should I file/sand the extractor or the receiver?

Click image to enlarge I wanted to post to makes sure this was the route to take. Didn't realize with the LCP design Ruger took out a whole chuck of metal. Thanks for the link.

I was amazed by the finish, lack thereof, of this little bug, but now that I got it all fluff and buffed really good and fixed this issue, I'd say it's a great beginner gunsmithing piece in addition to being a nice little bug. Grin
